Africa’s first Nile Crocodile Zip Line has opened at Croc City Crocodile & Reptile Park – a brand new Croc City ‘FlyOver’ for the brave of heart that will you see you zip over a pond of hungry Nile crocodiles!
“Defy gravity and soar through the air over some of Croc City Crocodile & Reptile Park’s Nile crocodile ponds with one hundred crocs watching from below!” says owner of the park Anton Lötter.
The FlyOver gives adventurers the heart-stopping opportunity to glide over three different size crocodile enclosures ranging in sizes from one metre to five metres – a daring and thrilling ride!
“This incredibly entertaining experience begins with a brief safety and orientation session and is led by highly trained guides. Prepare to experience Croc City from a view point previously reserved for our fine feathered friends,” says Anton.
He explains that the zip line tour consists of two cable sections or slides with three platforms – the starting, the middle and the ending platform. “The first section traverses over two separate crocodile enclosures ending on the middle double platform. From this platform the second section traverses over the large crocodile enclosure to the ending platform. The total length of the tour is 150 metres,” he says.
