NEWS

Words: Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) International

The Roxy Pro France is ON again this morning in glassy 3-4Ft surf at the backup venue of Le Penon in Seignosse, France. The event will resume with the fourth round of competition at 7:45am local time.

Second to last event on the 2013 ASP Women's World Championship Tour, the Roxy Pro could potentially crown a World Champion today with Carissa Moore in striking distance of her second title.

"We'll be starting very soon with the plan of running through the event and finishing around 1pm today," Dave Shipley, ASP Women's WCT head judge stated. "The conditions look very good today, the tide is good and the waves are centered on the bank, it should be a great competition."

Up first will be reigning five-time World Champion Stephanie Gilmore (AUS) against Hawaiian talent Alana Blanchard (HAW).
