REGISTRATION: 06h00 – 07h50 [Signing indemnities and receiving race numbers]

• 20km – 08h00
• 11km – 08h05
• Prize giving – 11h30

ENTRY FEE:

• 20km = R195
• 11km = R100

OTHER INFO:

• Entries close on 1 April or once 450 runners have entered.
• No refunds once entered. Substitutions allowed at R30 admin fee.
• The 11km is suitable for novice trail runners. Much of this is along a fresh water canal. on the “right” field.

RACE RULES:

• Carry own water – there are no water tables. The water along the canal is fresh, mountain water.
• Cell phone with 0826583078 “saved” on it. This is the emergency number.
• In case of rain, you would need to carry a “water proof” rain jacket.
• In normal conditions, you need to carry a “wind proof” shell. Swearing, rudeness, negative attitudes are banned!

DIRECTIONS TO LOURENSFORD WINE ESTATE:

From Cape Town: (approx. 45km) Take the N2 to Somerset West.

• Take the Broadway turn-off, Exit No. 43 towards Somerset West and Stellenbosch
• At the traffic lights, at the Lord Charles Hotel, turn right into Somerset West Main Road.
• Continue straight through three sets of traffic lights.
• At the fourth set of traffic lights take a left turn into Lourensford Road (Land and Zeezicht).
• Follow Lourensford Road for approximately 4km past Erinvale Golf Estate on your left hand side.
• Just past the Erinvale Golf Estate turn left and follow the road to our main gate.
• Drive through the security gate/main entrance and bear left at the 1st junction where there is a large Oak Tree in the middle of the roundabout/circle. The race venue is at the top of this section of tarred road

From Stellenbosch: Take the R44.

• At the traffic lights, at the Lord Charles Hotel, turn left into Somerset West Main Road.
• Continue straight through three sets of traffic lights.
• At the fourth set of traffic lights take a left turn into Lourensford Road (Land and Zeezicht).
• Follow Lourensford Road for approximately 4km past Erinvale Golf Estate on your left hand side.
• Just past the Erinvale Golf Estate turn left and follow the road to our main gate.
• ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the R44, take the Old Stellenbosch Road turn off, turn left into Irene Road and left into Lourensford Road.
• Drive through the security gate/main entrance and bear left at the 1st junction where there is a large Oak Tree in the middle of the roundabout/circle. The race venue is at the top of this section of tarred road
