Welcome to the 24 October 2014 issue of DO IT NOW Magazine.

This week's cover article is a race report from the 2014 Bridge Cape Pioneer Trek, a tough 572 km race that is held over seven days.

Just shy of 80 riders will don the 2014 auSOMEtism race jersey in this year's 947 event, to raise awareness for autism, as well as change perceptions and break down, if only a few, barriers to what is an extremely mystifying condition known as autism spectrum disorder. Find out more in Riding for autism.  There's good news for our dirt bike riders. You can now rev it up on the newly built supercross track, the Chimes SX Park, in Benoni. For all the details, read New supercross track opens in Benoni

Warm weather, sun block and holiday vibes are all things we can look forward to in the upcoming months. However, if you are working on that ‘beach body’, time is steadily running out. 7 Ways to spring clean your training provides some great tips to help you overhaul your current training programme and fine-tune your inner fitness guru, in time for the holiday season.

Can't decide where to go for your next holiday? Then don't miss the article on Six of the best, which focuses on six places in our beautiful country that are well worth a visit and deserve a spot on every South African’s bucket list. If you have your sights set on an overseas trip, then what about Lake Como, in Italy? Find out more, including a few secrets that not many people speak about when referring to the lake, in The secrets of Lake Como.

For the love of adventure, hockey and charity is about two guys who combined their love of hockey with an adventure of a lifetime that saw them cycle approximately 650 km from Witbank, across the flatlands of Mpumalanga and along the roads of the Free State to Ballito, all while raising money for cancer.

Until next Friday, don't hesitate, don't procrastinate, do it now!
