X-FIGHTERS RETURNS TO MUNICH
The world's best FMX tour will make a stop one more time in Munich on July 19. Once again, the world's top riders will invade the Bavarian capital and perform their breathtaking tricks in Munich's famous Olympic Park.
The most talented and exciting FMX athletes the world has ever seen will be flying up to 15 meters high and over a distance of up to 30 meters in Munich's Olympic Park at the fourth stop of the 2014 world tour. The competition in Munich will be the season's penultimate round and could prove to be the decisive contest for the overall 2014 Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour. After Munich, the tour will move on to the season finale in Pretoria, South Africa.
The Olympiapark in Munich (GER) is an olympic park, which was constructed for the 1972 Summer Olympics. Located in the area of Munich that is known as the "Oberwiesenfeld" (upper meadow-field), the park continues to serve as a venue for sport, cultural, social, and religious events such as events of worship.
The park is extremely large and the other statistic facts are more then impressive. So far, more than 11,500 events took place in the area and over 188 million visitors attended these events in the area. Host of more then 30 world championships, 12 European championships, and more then 100 German championships, Munich's Olympiapark is on list of the most important and best known sports/event venues on the planet.
