Whether you’re a fitness fanatic, adventure seeker, discerning gourmand or are just looking for the perfect family breakaway in the magnificent Garden Route, this year the 31st annual Pick n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival will deliver with a diverse programme of over 100 events during the school holidays from 04-13 July 2014.

This year the Pick n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival is expected to raise more than R1.5-million for charity, benefiting many Knysna-based non-profit organizations, as well as initiatives like the Pick n Pay Women’s Walk which will offer free breast cancer prevention education and health screenings during the Festival.

Entries for the Big 5 Sports Challenge are open, including the first-ever Big 5 LITE Challenge which offers an entry-level version of what has become renowned as South Africa’s most scenic multi-disciplinary competition, while entries to the Momentum Weekend Argus Rotary Knysna Cycle Tour and Momentum Cape Times Knysna Forest Marathon are open. Entries to the Half Marathon are sold out, but additional entries will be made available from 15 May as part of the Charity Sale.
