The International Hotel School Introduces their new Christina Martin Culinary Arts Studio in Plettenberg Bay, that offers a number of qualifications, amongst which is the CTH Diploma in Culinary Arts developed in partnership with Gordon Ramsay’s Tante Marie Culinary Academy*.

The name Christina Martin is renowned in the culinary world and the Christina Martin Culinary Arts programme, offered through The International Hotel School, carries on her tradition of culinary education excellence.

The prestigious 2 year programme provides 24 students the chance to complete the South African National Certificate in Professional Cookery (NQF Level 4) and four internationally recognised culinary diplomas, that of:
· City & Guilds Diploma in Food Preparation and Cooking (Culinary Arts)
· City & Guilds Diploma in Patisserie
· City & Guilds Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts
· Diploma in Professional Culinary Arts from CTH, developed in partnership with Gordon Ramsay’s Tante Marie Culinary Academy

For these 24 up-and-coming chefs this new programme will help craft their culinary dreams and turn them into a reality. Passion and hard work is all that is needed by the students who will live on the campus and attend lectures and practical classes in the beautiful surroundings of Plettenberg Bay.

Some of the characteristics that are included at the campus are a small vineyard and purpose-built practical kitchen. Within each course module students will be offered a mixture of theory, practice and workplace experience in leading establishments. Additional courses that are included are first aid, wine appreciation as well as viticulture and wine making.
