Union Buildings, Pretoria
Following a sellout crowd in 2014, the illustrious Union Buildings will once again play host to the planet's finest freestyle motocross athletes on 12 September 2015. They descend on the capital city to take part in the 4th stop of the Red Bull X-Fighters Tour 2015 and tickets are now available.
“Last year’s final in Pretoria was amazing! Such rich heritage and that incredible course in front of an epic backdrop,” commented Sportive Director of the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour, Tes Sewell. “But to be honest, it was those amazingly passionate and energetic South African fans that truly put the cherry on top of a fantastic event. I know the whole crew is super excited to get back to Pretoria!”
After a spectacular showdown in the vast track carved out of the Dionyssos Marble Quarry on 13 June in Athens (Greece), it was Clinton Moore (AUS) who defeated the 2013 World Tour winner Thomas Pagès (FRA) with a mind-boggling array of tricks. Moore currently is leading the World Tour standings with 100 points and Pagès & Levi Sherwood (NZL) are right on his heels with 80 points a piece. Next up: the traditional hotspot for the tour, Madrid, Spain (10 July) before the Pretoria Stop.
No matter who’s on top of standings by the time September rolls around you can be sure that Red Bull X-Fighters Pretoria will be filled with insane maneuvers, incredible action and will leave the proudly South African crowd begging for more.
Tickets start from R295 and are available at Computicket. For more information, please visit: www.redbullxfighters.com.
