The HPCA (Hospice Palliative Care Association of South Africa) is hosting the Hidden Lives, Hidden Talents show on Thursday, 1 October 2015 at the Baxter Theatre.

The purpose of the talent show is to create awareness, amongst youth, and raise funds for World Hospice and Palliative Care Day taking place on 10 October. Palliative care is to promote quality in life, dignity in death and support in bereavement for all living with a life-threatening illness by supporting member hospices and partner organisations.  A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to children with life-long illnesses.

12 teenagers from around the Western Cape will take the stage in the hopes of winning the youth talent show and prizes including a cash sum, an agency contract, a guitar and vocal coaching lessons, to name a few prizes.  Celebrity judges to the likes of actress Ayanda Tini, Senior Soloist at Cape Town Ballet, Xola Puyte and talent scout America Bragaglia will face the difficult task of choosing a winner while radio DJ and producer, Guy McDonald, entertains the audience as MC.

The event promises to be a night of sharing experiences with the audience and doors open at 18:00 with the first performances at 19:00.  Tickets to the show are only R90 and includes a temporary butterfly tattoo and photo booth.
