2015 Route 99 MTB experience

NEWS

Words: The Leverage Corporation Team

Route 99? What's this I hear you ask? Simply put, it's an exciting new 3-day stage race presented by The Leverage Corporation and takes place on 9, 10 and 11 October 2015.

It’s the sister event to The Bridgestone Route 66 MTB Experience, but this race has a number of different offerings:
·         Each of the 3 stages will start and finish at the same place at the Rhino & Lion Park in the Cradle of Humankind
·         You can choose which stage you want to race, or you can race a combination of stages, such as Stage 1 and 3, Stage 2 and 3 or Stages 1, 2 & 3
·         This is a no-frills race, but there will be great post race food vendors, craft beer vendors and more
·         We will be offering three stunning stages
o   Stage 1 - 80km
o   Stage 2 - 75km
o   Stage 3 - 60km
·         On the Sunday, we will also be offering a 2015 Route 99 Supporters Ride with a 20km ride.
·         We will have a race village and on Saturday, in addition to a number of food and craft beer vendors, we will also host a mini-market and some live entertainment. So this would be the perfect opportunity to get away with the family for a family weekend.

So if you have committed to any big events in the latter part of 2015, or want to kick-start with a proper Stage Race in preparation for 2016, this is the race for you.

In true Leverage Corporation fashion, this will be a ride where you will be challenged; it will be a ride which you will enjoy; and it will be a fantastic event which is well organized and run.
