The fun filled IMPI Challenge returns to Hartbeespoort one last time this year. Taking place at the Van Gaalens Cheese Farm on Thursday, 24 September 2015, the IMPI Challenge caters for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages, including junior adventure seekers.

There are two categories that cater for under-18s: The IMPI Mini is for ages 6 – 10 and includes unlimited circuits of the 1.2km course which has supervised obstacles. The IMPI Dash is for entrants that are 11 years and older and features a 5 – 6km course that is perfect for families wanting to participate together. The IMPI Elite Race and IMPI Challenge cater for entrants older than 18, while IMPI Corporate is ideal for companies looking for a fun team building exercise.
“The IMPI Mini and IMPI Dash give the younger generation the opportunity to partake in the action of the IMPI Challenge,” says Pieter Du Plessis, IMPI Challenge Race Director. “The routes are 1.2km and +-5-6km in length with fun obstacles. IMPI Mini entrants have so much fun that they almost always run the course more than once. ”
IMPI CHALLENGE CATEGORIES:
IMPI Challenge: 10 km with 18 obstacles (age 18+ years)
IMPI Dash: 5 km with 12 obstacles (ages 10+, all adults welcome)
IMPI Mini: 1km with smaller supervised obstacles (ages 6 – 10 years)
IMPI Elite: 18- 20km with 25 tough obstacles (age 18+ years); timed event with prize money
IMPI Corporate: the 10km Challenge distance with extra benefits (age 18+ years)
The IMPI Challenge has become known for its best dressed competition. Entrants are encouraged to pull out all the stops. The most creative IMPI will take home awesome sponsor prizes. After an action packed day out on the course, family and friends can exchange war stories in the Festival Village.
