PUMA’s latest addition to the IGNITE family, the IGNITE XT cross trainer hits local stores today. Engineered to maximize energy and movement during high intensity workouts, the IGNITE XT is worn by the likes of Usain Bolt, Rihanna, Sergio Agüero, the Arsenal Football Club and the Cuban boxing team.

Like its forefathers, the IGNITE XT is grounded in energy return and is designed to give back the energy you put in. The unique IGNITE foam with its superior cushioning material, disperses impact while providing optimal responsiveness, while full-length flex grooves provide additional stability to the heel for side-to-side and dynamic movements. The weave air mesh in the upper offers maximum breathability and a sleek finish.

PUMA’s second major Forever Faster fitness campaign coincides with the launch of the new shoe. Driven by the question “What are you training for?” the global sports brand challenges individuals and teams to put more energy into training and more positivity into sport, #NoMatterWhat.

To keep athletes motivated and dedicated in their fitness journey, PUMATRAC has introduced a consumer engagement platform PUMA PACT, where users are encouraged to state publicly what they are training for and monitor their performance via the app. The PACT can be downloaded from the App Store or via Google Play for android.

Available in PUMA stores and selected retailers nationwide, the shoe will retail for R1 299. Watch this space and be inspired to take your workout to the next level with a training video series featuring Rihanna, Agüero and the Cuban boxing team.
