Visitors to the Johannesburg Boat Show held at the Johannesburg Expo Centre on August 8-11 can win a wakeboard tower and accessories worth R25 000.

Airborne Towers, the Cape Town based accessory distributors that distributes wakeboard towers all over the world, is giving away one of its towers, plus accessories, plus a professional fitment, to the value of R25 000.

To enter, all show-goers have to do is fill out an entry form at one of the Airborne Towers exhibitions at the show and drop it in the bin. These will be available from the Airborne Towers dealer stands at Twin Boats and Trailers, Boat and Lifestyle, Linex Yamaha and Boating International

“A wakeboard tower is something that enhances your boat in terms of looks, practicality and definitely in value,” says Airborne Towers’ Chris Teer

“In addition, with a host of accessories like wakeboard racks, ski racks, combination knee and wake racks, as well as mirrors, single or dual speakers with spotlights, not to mention our spectacular range of Biminis to choose from, the winner will have the ultimate boat makeover with the peace of mind that it was installed by professionals!

Chris Teer says that if the winner is into fishing rather than wakeboarding, the winner can choose a SkiCraft TTop, complete with rod holders and accessories.

All the towers are manufactured to stringent quality controls. Strong and lightweight 6061 aircraft aluminium is used throughout. The components are welded with a robotic unit that ensures perfect penetration and accuracy and then anodised for a corrosion free life.

“Sunbrella” 10 year warranty marine canvas is used exclusively for the Biminis and TTops.
The product is manufactured off-shore and exported to Europe, Australia and the United States.

As far as his views on the Johannesburg Boat Show are concerned, Teer says that in his 30 years’ experience in the boating industry he has seldom seen such energy at a boat show, and this includes shows in Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dusseldorf, London and Sidney and Sanctuary Cove.
“And without sounding too mercenary, it’s not just the excitement from the industry people, but the show visitors, and those visitors come to buy! So it’s a great show for all of us.”

The Johannesburg Boat Show will run at Nasrec Expo Centre, South of Johannesburg, between August 8 to 11, 2013, and will be co-located with the AMID Motorcycle Show and the Outdoor Lifestyle Show.
