“I took part in my first IMPI event, the 6km IMPI Dash in April this year.  I wasn’t ready for the full challenge,” says Campey.  “It was an awesome day and I ended up having serious FOMO of the 12km obstacles though.  I must admit there were moments on the uphill jogs that I hated my life decisions, but by the end we were filled with energy and could have done it all again.  I really enjoyed running in mud.  I haven’t experienced so much joy since I was 5 and my clothes were my mother’s problem.  This time round I am really looking forward to jumping into the lake on the 12km route”.

“The IMPI Challenge is such a great excuse to get out into the sunshine with friends,” continues Campey.  “The obstacles are challenging enough to make you feel like Jean Claude Van Damme for overcoming them and the kick in the butt of fitness is needed for us all, especially leading up to summer.  I am a huge advocate of this fun event and would tell everyone to try it. Especially because it's not a "race" and you can go at a slower pace if you need to - the sense of accomplishment is not depleted on finishing”.

Stand-up comedians teaming up with Campey will include:  Schalk Bezuidenhout, Martin Evans ,  Kellyn Coetzee, Gareth Woods and Colin Moss.
