It’s acoustic candy at its best - the 2015 Ugu Jazz Arts and Culture Festival introduces a new impression of the jazz music extravaganza. With two stages of performances in one night, at one venue, with music styles complementing patrons’ different tastes in music be sure to be at the Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast on 27 June 2015.

The 9th edition of the Ugu Jazz Arts and Culture Festival caters for both classic and contemporary jazz lovers. The main stage, Stage 1, will host an authentic and powerful line up of jazz performances from Jazz legends from all walks of life. All the way from Tunisia, Nabil Khemir will join South African artists, Jimmy Dludlu; Ringo Madlingozi, Vusi Mahlesela, Lira, Selaelo Selota, Thandiswa Mazwai, The Soil, Nomalanga, KZN Jazz clubs and KZN Jazz Band.

Stage 2 will host powerful performances from the likes of Beatenberg, Zakes Bantwini, Afro soul, Naima Kay, Solomon Willy, Dj Mshendis, and DJ Syanda.

And in honour of all women, the Ugu Arts and Culture Festival presents an indoor concert- the Diva’s Evening hosted by no other than the extraordinary Zakes Bantwini on the 26th of June. This will also take place at the Ugu sports and Leisure Centre and kicks off at 18h00.

Ugu Jazz Arts and Culture Festival Diva’s Evening brings world class performances from the most loved Diva’s of South African jazz. Led by Sibongile Khumalo, the beautiful trio Thandiswa Mazwai, Zama Jobe and Judith Sephuma and KZN singing birds - Heels over Head, hosted by Zakes Bantwini, this line up is sure to give ladies an unforgettable night.

TICKET INFORMATION
Ticket prices start at R200 for the Diva’s Concert, R450 for a two day pass and R350 for Golden Circle on the 27th June. The VIP package (only 200 tickets available and only available for the 27th) includes access to an exclusive lounge, three course meal, limited complimentary drinks from the bar-access to private cash bar, parking closer to the venue, shuttle service from parking to venue, access to 2 stages and a private lounge on deck with preferred, providing great networking for only R900.00.

TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT
Park and Ride services will be made available from the evening of the 26th June from various parking grounds secured by the event within the Port Shepstone and Margate areas.
