Description:
The 2016 Absa Cape Epic will take 1200 riders through some of the most pristine and unspoilt territory that the Western Cape in South Africa has to offer. Every year this mountain bike stage race brings together riders from all corners of the globe to race or successfully complete the Untamed African MTB Race.
The route changes each year but starts with a prologue and then takes riders over some 700kms and 15 000m of climbing before culminating in the Grand Finale celebrations, which are broadcast live internationally.
