When you make the commitment to marry someone, you take a vow to love and cherish your spouse through the good times and bad, for as long as you both shall live. But what if that commitment is tested by serious illness, and/or financial difficulty? Would you stay together and would you know how to win your soul mate's heart back all over again?

Peugeot’s recently introduced 5008 is one of those vehicles that goes almost unnoticed simply because it's a very user friendly device and does everything it should with ease.
Finding your Perfect Companion - Mitsubishi, Isuzu & Harley-Davidson

Like Toyota’s bests ell er, the Fortuner, is based on the Hilux, so the new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is also based on a bakkie, the Triton. And like the 3.0 D-4D Fortuner, the Pajero Sport 3.2 DI-D churns out 120 kW and 343 Nm.

Comparing the Hyundai Elantra and Chevrolet Cruze might make sense if you put the entry level 1.6s or the two 1.8-litre automatic models in a jar and shake it. Fortunately I drove the 2.0D LT Cruze, so I can’t get into trouble by directly pitting it against the 1.8 auto Elantra in which I did an 800-kilometre breakfast run. So let's see what I thought.

When I was little there was this one TV commercial (that was in the year 2000) that showed what cars of the future would look like. They floated above the ground and drove themselves, and looked absolutely amazing. Well, we’re in the future now and the luxury cars still have wheels that touch the ground, but the new Honda Accord Tourer (the station wagon) looks stylish from every angle and drives itself like they promised when I was young.

Both the MINI One and BMW 1 Series (5-door) 116i are entry-level models of a premium brand. Both are German and powered by 1.6-litre petrol engines. Apart from that they could not be any more different .

They don’t make them like they used to' is a phrase that couldn’t be more true of serious off-road vehicles, and here I’m thinking Willy ’s Jeep, FJ45 Land Cruisers and Series I Land Rovers.

The adventure bike market has been growing steadily over the past couple of years, and this can be seen in the large number of German 1200s on the roads, as well as Yamaha, which joined the market in 2010. It's therefore about time that Honda - famous for the XRV750 Africa Twin - joins the party.
In Review: Amarok, Nissan & Volvo - Be pleasantly surprised!

When the VW Amarok was launched in South Africa you initially only had a choice between two diesel engines. Last year VW introduced the 2.0 TSi, delivering a healthy 118 kW and 300 Nm of torque, not bad for a two litre. This is the entry level Amarok and it's only available in 4x2, but it still has ABS, ESP (Electronic Stability Programme) and traction control as standard safety features, as well as cruise control, hill start assist and an Electronic Differential Lock (EDL).

In Review: 7-UP People Carriers

Lazy people with a bad attitude and no personality generally go for fast, flashy cars such as coupes and hot hatches; anything really with a GTi, STi or M badge. The obvious reason is to compensate for the lack of inherent coolness. But the more subtle reasons are that less physical effort is required to enter a low-slung car and thereÕs no need for more than a couple of doors
