South Africa cash in on home ground advantage at UWCT Final

Pietermaritzburg – Local road cyclists topped the medal haul at the UCI World Cycling Tour (UWCT) Final on the weekend, and in the process also took major strides forward for the discipline in South Africa as they helped further entrench the respect and confidence the sport’s international governing body (UCI) has in top level events being staged by Cycling South Africa.

South African marathon championships by Max Knox

This past weekend, I won the South African marathon championships. It was a 110km race with over 3000 meters of vertical ascent. Conditions were hard with heavy rain, strong winds and cold temperatures. It was also round six of the national marathon series, so winning was a very good step in the direction of taking the series overall for the year. Back to the race my preparation and equipment for the event was perfect, it was always going to be a hard race to win, with the prestigious honor...

National Supermoto Returns To The Streets Of Pinetown

On Sunday the 2nd of September the streets of Pinetown in Kwazulu will once again host a round of the National SupermotoChampionship. This event is one of the highlights of the year for the riders as well as the spectators. Thousands of people flock to this event every year and this is the seventh time in a row that this race will take place.
