Master the harvest at dusk with Nederburg

Known for its prize-winning reputation and generous hospitality, Nederburg is once again inviting the public to join its harvesting team at the winery’s annual ‘Harvest Day at Dusk’. Gather friends and family for an evening of grape-picking adventure in the Paarl vineyards on Saturday, February 22, followed by a delicious outdoor culinary feast.

Guests will get to harvest and stomp grapes, as well as taste freshly pressed grape must, fermenting juice and some tank samples of wine, thereby following the journey from the vineyard to the bottle. A steady supply of delicious mezze platters, juice and mineral water will keep harvesters refreshed while picking grapes.

After all the picking and tasting, a sumptuous braai that includes a variety of meats, will be served. There will also be a seafood hotpot and delicious side dishes, prepared by The Red Table restaurant. Guests will be able to relax at tables dotted around the manor house terrace and lawns. A selection of Nederburg’s wines will be offered for sale.

Guests are advised to wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
