This time, the seductively exotic charms of Amarula Cream proved irresistible to the panel of experts at the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) in London, who it awarded it a gold medal.

The IWSC brings together 300 judges from 30 countries. "The taste of marula is just so appealing. How could the panel not agree with our elephants!" said Amarula spokesperson Dino D'Aurujo. The gleaming medal adds to the brand's treasure trove of international accolades that stretch from London to Brussels, New York and San Francisco. AMARULA COFFEE SURPRISE
Serves 4

Ingredients:
120ml Amarula Cream
50ml whipped cream
20ml brown sugar
20ml hot chocolate powder
4 cups strong filter coffee
Glass: Martini/cocktail glasses

Method
1. Pour the coffee into the glasses in which a spoon had been inserted to avoid cracking.
2. Pour about 15ml of the Amarula Cream into each coffee, followed by whipped cream and brown sugar.
3. Sprinkle with hot chocolate powder and extra Amarula Cream.
