Clare Vale back for SupaDrift 5

Clare Vale will be competing in Supadrift 05 in Port Shepstone after a break since the first event of the season. The RAM Mustang suffered a clutch failure at The Rock that put the car into the wall at high speed, causing severe damage. The team has worked hard to rebuild the car, spending additional time improving the suspension, and the car has performed well in testing.

The Dezzi circuit in KZN is a popular drifting venue, and the track has recently been extended. This will be Clare’s first time at the track this year, so the team will need to be on its toes to make adjustments and changes where necessary.

Clare Vale on her return: ”We had an enormous amount of work to do after our car hit the wall, and we still had some suspension issues at the recent Zwartkops event. We’ve made some changes again since then and the car is feeling good. The weekend is going to be a challenge, as the track is all new to me and we’ve done very little testing, but the team is up for it and we’ll be giving it our all.”
